Check out the pricing plan above for general guidelines regarding the startup cost. Once we host a discovery call with you, we will be able to send a proposal document with a project cost estimate.
All our websites include the first year of web hosting. Beginning one year after your new site launches, you will receive an annual invoice for your web hosting renewal. Contact us to learn more about web hosting fees and renewal.
We don’t force you into multi-year contracts. Your website will be active for each year that your annual web hosting fee is paid. If you’d like to transfer your hosting to another platform/service, just contact us.
Because you or your teammates are the true content experts for your organization, we rely on your unique contribution to produce an effective, impactful website. Things we typically receive from our nonprofit partners include:

custom visual collateral (graphics, video clips, photos, etc.)

written content (at minimum, your organization will provide the first draft)
We will work with you to get all these materials organized and transferred in a convenient manner. To transfer digital files, we can provide you with a link to upload them online. For written copy, we can provide you with Google Docs to enter the content into.
If you don’t have certain items (including brand assets, graphics, videos, or photos), let us know and we can work with you to create some!

Finally, Wix gives you access to a large library of plugins (apps) and fully-customizable templates that can help you boost your digital presence.
Yes, Wix makes the process of updating your website easy and fast. We will host a live training session with you after launch to ensure you and your stakeholders are able to do this.
Nope! While we keep tabs on other web platforms, our agency works exclusively in Wix.
It depends! We’re committed to delivering high-quality websites, and we’ve developed a thorough process to that end. Most websites take about 3 months to complete, with some wrapping up shorter or longer than that.
In our experience, some key factors of a great website launch are good communication up-front and timely responses throughout. This includes things like content/asset handoff, checking in with revisions, and meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page. Prompt content provision and review from you will help us deliver a stunning site with maximum efficiency.
Our agency brings design and web expertise to the table, but you or your teammates are the true content experts for your organization. We rely on your expertise to produce an effective, impactful website, and therefore require good collaboration to that end.
We often work with executive- or director-level leaders or a communications professional to see a website project through. In most cases, it’s best to identify someone at your organization to be the singular point of contact with our agency, because they are in the best position to coordinate with and gain approval from the right stakeholders. We communicate with this person through our Project Lead or Project Manager to keep things simple and clear.
Your new site is hosted on the Wix platform, which means you don’t need to worry about complex server architecture or keep track of a bunch of credentials or databases.
Wix allows sites to be maintained by multiple people, each one having their own Wix account. Our agency is one of those accounts, and we’ll help add other authorized users to the site at your request. One or more of your stakeholders’ accounts can be identified as a co-owner of the site, which gives them elevated permissions.
As for files, they are also stored on the Wix platform and can be accessed easily through the Media Manager. You can download your files anytime and easily organize them into folders and subfolders in the Media Manager.
No, you don’t need to become a web whiz to know how to manage and maintain your new site. Wix makes all that quite simple, and they have loads of great training resources to help you out along the way. We also host a post-launch training call to help you get acclimated to your available tools in Wix.
If something goes wrong with the site, you have multiple options for a solution:

Backups: Wix has a robust backup system, so you’ll be able to revert your site to a previous state if something goes wrong or content gets overwritten.

Basic Tech Support: Your annual web hosting fee includes basic technical support from GP Creative. This covers any issues that arise on the Wix site that are not the result of user error. This does not include web services such as content changes or design alterations; however, your annual hosting fee entitles you to a discount on those services…so just contact us to get started!

Advanced Tech Support: GP Creative is a Wix Partner Agency, so we have access to rapid, advanced support directly from Wix. If the issue is more than a basic technical one, then we will utilize this system to find a resolution.

A domain name is an essential component of your digital presence. It’s the unique identifier that search engines and your audience members use to find your site online. If you don’t already have a domain name, we will help you acquire one, and it will be accessible to you in Wix when we launch your site. If you already have a domain name, we will help you transfer it to Wix so all your site’s resources can exist in one convenient location. (If, for some reason, you need to keep your domain at an existing registrar, we will help you direct its traffic to your new site upon launch.)
Thanks to Wix’s user privilege system, you will be able to administer your domain name once the new site is launched, and you can even invite other stakeholders (like an IT professional) into Wix to manage your domain name’s settings.
Once we host a discovery call and send you the proposal — including a project cost estimate — we will send an official Work Order if you’d like to proceed with the project. We typically require a 50% deposit at the beginning of the project (when you sign the Work Order), and the remaining 50% is due before project completion. Payment is typically due within 30 days of receipt of invoice. Contact us to learn more about how we handle billing.
